Welcome Back!

Dear Families,
I hope you all had some special time together over Winter Break and were able to rest, recharge, and enjoy being with loved ones. We are excited to welcome everyone back to school and are ready to begin the new year feeling refreshed and ready to learn.

Our Awards Ceremony will be held this Friday, and families are warmly invited to attend. During the ceremony, we will honor our Students of the Month, recognize students for their AR reading points, and celebrate those who earned 100% attendance for the months of November and December. We are so proud of our students’ hard work and commitment!

We are also looking forward to our first Student Council Meeting, which Ms. Danelle will be hosting on Thursday, January 8th, during lunch in Room 90. I am excited to see what our Student Council will plan for us this year and how our students will continue to grow as leaders.

I would also like to take a moment to reflect on what a truly special evening our Winter Performance was. Our students did an amazing job, and I am incredibly proud of their hard work, courage, and talent—as well as the dedication of our wonderful faculty who helped make the evening such a success.

A huge thank you to our PTSO for hosting an incredible Silent Auction and Hot Cocoa & Dessert Bar. Together, these fundraisers earned over $5,000, which will go directly toward supporting classroom activities, supplies, and field trips for our students. We are so grateful to our PTSO members for their hard work and to all of the families who supported these fundraisers. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference for our school and our children.

We are off to a wonderful start to the new year, and I am looking forward to all that lies ahead!

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo!

Queridas familias,
Espero que hayan podido disfrutar de un tiempo especial juntos durante las vacaciones de invierno y que todos hayan podido descansar, recargar energías y disfrutar con sus seres queridos. Estamos muy contentos de darles la bienvenida de regreso a la escuela y comenzar el nuevo año sintiéndonos renovados y listos para aprender.

Nuestra Ceremonia de Premios se llevará a cabo este viernes, y las familias están cordialmente invitadas a asistir. Durante la ceremonia, honraremos a nuestros Estudiantes del Mes, reconoceremos a los estudiantes por sus puntos de lectura AR, y celebraremos a aquellos que lograron 100% de asistencia durante los meses de noviembre y diciembre. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos del esfuerzo y compromiso de nuestros estudiantes!

También esperamos con entusiasmo nuestra primera reunión del Consejo Estudiantil, que será dirigida por la Sra. Danelle el jueves 8 de enero durante el almuerzo en el Salón 90. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de ver lo que nuestro Consejo Estudiantil planeará para nosotros este año y cómo nuestros estudiantes seguirán creciendo como líderes!

También me gustaría tomar un momento para reflexionar sobre lo especial que fue nuestra Presentación de Invierno. Nuestros estudiantes hicieron un trabajo increíble, y estoy muy orgullosa de su esfuerzo, valentía y talento, así como de la dedicación de nuestro maravilloso personal que ayudó a que la noche fuera todo un éxito.

Un enorme agradecimiento a nuestra PTSO por organizar una increíble Subasta Silenciosa y Barra de Chocolate Caliente y Postres. En conjunto, estas actividades recaudaron más de $5,000, que se destinarán directamente a apoyar las actividades del salón de clases, los materiales y las excursiones escolares de nuestros estudiantes. Estamos muy agradecidos con los miembros de la PTSO y con todas las familias que apoyaron estas recaudaciones de fondos. Su generosidad marca una gran diferencia para nuestra escuela y nuestros niños.

¡Estamos comenzando el año de una manera maravillosa y espero con entusiasmo todo lo que viene!
